We'll tell you as soon as tickets go on sale:
Director Thom Southerland, who wowed critics and public alike with award-winning, sold out productions of Titanic, Parade and Mack & Mabel, directs a radically re-conceived and acclaimed new production of Gilbert & Sullivan's best-loved operetta, The Mikado. In this production, which boasts a Noël Coward sensitivity, Gilbert & Sullivan's delightful, much-loved score will be performed acoustically on two baby grand pianos.
This updated take on The Mikado is set in the Titipu Umbrella and Fan Factory, owned by The Mikado. All the familiar characters and songs remain intact with a score including ‘A Wand'ring Minstrel I’, ‘I've Got a Little List’, ‘Three little maids from school are we’ and ‘Willow, tit-willow’
The cast includes Rebecca Caine as Katisha and Mark Heenehan as The Mikado.
